Enterprise Google Tablet - Motorola First

Hi Folks,
We can now begin the spending on a "hard device" suitable for field work.

The tablet itself is powered by a dual core chipset clocked at 1GHz, possibly a TI OMAP4430, with a special version on Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread, a 7-inch 1024x600 pixel display, 1GB RAM, 4GB flash and 4GB microSD card slot, Wi-Fi, USB, HDMI, GPS, Bluetooth, an eight megapixel camera with a VGA front-facing one, a 4260mAh battery and the ability to read 1D-2D barcodes.

I am not impress with the software - Android 2.3. However it will be suitable for office and field work.
Price seems to be HOT £830 and that is POUNDS.
Anyhow, we should soon see a better deal with the price on the US market for this device.


I will love to have one in hand soonest.


Think about this 8MP back camera and the GPS.
This will certainly change the landscape for small household surveys.
