Increasing the Sales of a Human Service

The World has slowed down. The Caribbean Region is moving at a snail's pace!
Grenada is not moving right now!
Being a developer, having access to the WWW (Internet) and the vast amount of experiences, knowledge and information shared on a daily basis is just not doing good for young developers in countries where the opportunities are scarce.
Desperate time calls for "Measures"! I heard some say - Desperate time calls for Desperate Measures.
However, I am not buying into or selling this kind of thinking.
Let's look some new concepts that recently evolved in the Grenadian Village place - Places I once used to call "Behind God's back" - Yes, Rural communities.
In once village, highly dependant on the Agricultural industry, construction workers and few public(civil) servants to sustain it people has now commercialised the close to 50 household community.
I have been gauging this trend for 2 year, from April 2010 to present.
Construction workers (males) are few in this area, the Agricultural sales has decline, and what has become the few selling products are priced for few to buy.
The new market has become the one grocery shop, which now sells from Land Produce to Cooking Gas - and you can even preorder your cooker from Amazon.com over the Internet from this store.
Funny thing is that the services is still comfortable, not as friendly as it was, most persons just give a quick "morning" and get about their business.
Additional comments goes as " 30 Dollars for just that!" Or  "Another hundred dollars gone again!"

I write this articles to keep my focus on the two things that has kept this community afloat - Free Food on the trees and the few persons who are making kids - Yes, the once cheep to free family service of child care has become the new way to keep the little community afloat.
A service that once was offered by homemakers has moves from 50EC to 500 and more ... over 2 year per child.

This set me to think..... who in this hard time can pay such a price! Of course the "White collar" the ones who are seeking to follow after the rich. We call them the "middle class" - those who want to keep making what they make to survive the a lifestyle that - well lets just say to survive.
