Interest in the Caribbean over the past 10 years

Search interest in the Caribbean or at least the search word  " Caribbean"  has been  on a flat for the past 10 years.

Apart from the three visible spikes in 2006, 2008 and 2011. There has not been any growing interest in the word - "Caribbean."

Otherwise  there is a notable decrease of search for the term "Barbados in RED LINE" which may indicate that the interest by visitor to that country may be decreasing.

We notice that Grenada in blue LINE has a significant spike in 2004, this is accounted for by the 4th September Hurricane Ivan.

We outline that in 2006, Trinidad has a significant spike as seen in purple. I cannot account for this event but will like to hear from you.

Can you help explain the Three spikes in the Green line for the Caribbean - 2006, 2007 and 2011.

1. Account for the Spike in 2011

For both words, "Caribbean" and "the Caribbean" Between April and July 2011 we observe the spike. 

A spike indicated a growing interest or Number of person searching for "Caribbean".
