What is the purpose of stamps in Greanda

Stamps. Yep you get them. I think they are pretty and nice. However, what is their purpose.

I have learnt that this is the method in the olden days that allowed person to make the payment before accessing a services.

Simply put, it was you paid it forward, before you went to get the public service.

It was a payment receipt, that is placed on the document, to allow all partied viewing the document to know that this document was paid for.

In my humble experience, i thought this was ment to be a form that the document was certificated.
